Mike Eisenberg

My Story

I was born and raised in New York City. In college I was big into track and field and cross-country — competing taught me the discipline and consistency I've carried into every business since.

About a decade ago I left the States to live abroad: three years in Spain, followed by six years in Colombia. Living as an expat shaped how I invest — I understand firsthand what international buyers need, because I've been one.

Real estate is my passion. Today I lead capital structuring and investor relations for boutique hotel projects in Medellín like Nativo and Hotel Balcones del Estadio, invest in value-add multifamily in Detroit, and help expats finance Colombian property through World Lending Group. We also run a nonprofit in Detroit providing housing for lower-income families.

Outside of real estate, I host The Eisenberg Effect podcast and support Fundación Corazones Unidos, a children's charity in Costa Rica that serves 600+ kids every year.

Many of these projects are built alongside my partner Real Estate Nemo — together we operate boutique hotels, a podcast studio, and cross-border lending across Medellín and Detroit.
